教学设计
1. 整体设计思路、指导依据说明
新课标课程“强调从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力,使语言学习的过程成为学生形成积极的情感态度、主动思维和大胆实践、提高跨文化意识和形成自主学习能力的过程”。
根据新课标,结合本课的课型,教学目标的核心任务是能听懂有关正在进行的动作的的对话,学习相关词汇。
2. 教学背景分析
教学内容分析:
本节课是人教版英语七年级下册第六单元的内容,本单元以“everyday activities” 为话题,谈论正在进行的动作或正在发生的事情。本课时是第一课时,学生在这一节课中将初步掌握现在进行时的用法及问答。从本单元来说,它既是本单元的基本语言内容,又为本单元知识的继续学习、拓展和综合运用语言奠定坚实的基础,在本单元有重要的作用。
学生情况分析:
初一的学生对英语普遍感兴趣,但有很大的不稳定性,好奇心强,求知欲旺盛,他们学习英语既感到好奇又感到担心,希望能得到他人的肯定。因此在教学过程中尽量让他们参与到活动中来,有更多的机会说英语,减少他们的恐惧感,通过学生间的合作学习,降低他们的学习难度,使他们体验到成功的喜悦。多种对话合作学习活动的设置,活跃了课堂气氛,提高他们综合运用语言的能力,各层次的学生都有所收获。
3. 教学目标分析
知识与技能目标:
1. 能掌握以下单词: newspaper, use, soup, wash, movie, just
能掌握以下句型:
—What are you doing? —I'm watching TV.
—What's he doing? —He's using the computer.
—What are they doing? —They're listening to a CD.
—This is Jenny. —It's Laura here.
2. 能掌握语法:现在进行时态的用法。
过程与方法目标:
1. 能运用所学的知识,描述人 们正在干 的事情。
情感、态度、价值观目标:
通过对本单元的学习活动,能培养培养学生学习英语的强烈兴趣,善于发现生活中正在发生的事情,积极思考,乐于助人,乐于参加各种活动的积极情感,培养学生团结合作的精神。
4. 教学重点、难点分析
教学重点:
1.词汇、词组搭配和现在进行时的用法。能用现在进行时的各种形式进行准确的描述和表达正在发生的动作。
2. 能掌握现在进行时态及一些表示具体动作的词组搭配,如: doing homework, using the computer, watching TV, eating dinner… 等
教学难点:
能在交际中准确地运用现在进行时来描述或表达 正在进行的动作。
5. 教学方法
根据新课标的要求,结合教材和学生特点,在本课教学过程中主要采取任务型互动式进行教学,结合情景法、交际法、听说法等教学方法实施课堂活动,开启学生思维。通过一系列有条理的教学活动,引导学生自主探究学习和与他人互动合作学习,让学生体验愉快学习。
6. 教学过程设计
Step 1. Warming-up and Leading-in
1. Greet the Ss and check the homework.
2. Watch a video program in which people are doing different things.
设计意图:通过观看视频自然引入本课内容。
Step 2. Presentation
1. Show some pictures on the big screen. Present the new words and expressions.
2. Ss watch and learn the new words and expressions and remember them.
3. (Show some pictures on the screen and ask some students to perform the actions.)
e.g. T: What are you doing?
S: I am doing homework. (Help him/her to answer)
T: What is he /she doing?
Ss: He /she is doing homework.
Teach: watching TV, cleaning, r eading a book, eating dinne r, talking on the phone...in the same way.
4. Work on 1a. The Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures and then check their answers.
5. The Ss listen to the tape and finish 1b.
设计意图:通过多媒体课件显示,学生的亲自表演和练习,目的是让学生在真实情境中学习短语和感受现在进行时的结构和用法。
Step 3. Pair work
1. Ask the Ss to read the conversations in 1c with a partner. Then look at the pictures in 1a and make conversations about other persons in the picture.
2. Ss make conversations by themselves and practice the conversations.
设计意图:小组练习既可以培养学生的合作意识,又能在情境中用进行时进行交流,初步体会和运用现在进行时。
Step 4. Listening
1. Listen to the conversations and match the answers with the questions in 2a,then check the answers.
2. First Ss read the conversation in 2b, then play the recording for the Ss twice.
The first time Ss only listen and write down the words in the blanks. Then play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers. (If necessary, press the Pause button to help.)
设计意图:听力训练进一步帮助学生巩固对现在进行时的了解和运用。
Step 5. Pair work
1. The Ss role-play the conversation in 2b with their partners and then some pairs are invited to act out the conversation in front of the class.
设计意图:角色扮演能够帮助学生操练所学内容并活跃课堂气氛。
Step 6. Role-play
1. Ask Ss to read the conversation in 2d and answer the questions below.
① Are Jenny and Laura talking on the phone?
(Yes, they are.)
② What's Laura doing now?
(She's washing her clothes.)
③ What 's Jenny doing?
(She's watching TV.)
④ When do they meet at Jenny's home?
(At half past six.)
2. Ss read the conversation and answer the questions above.
3. Check the answers with the Ss.
4. Ask Ss to work in pairs and role-play the conversation.
设计意图:通过提问题考察学生对现在进行时的学习情况和对语篇的阅读理解能力,表演活动能更进一步激发学生的学习兴趣。
Step 7. Consolidation
1. Make a survey and report.
2. Make a song by using the phrases and sentence patterns.
设计意图:通过做调查报告及编歌曲的形式考察学生对语言知识的运用和口头表达能力。运用奖励的机制,给表现好的同学发小礼物。
Step 8. Summary
The Ss sum up the language points, if necessary, the teacher will make some supplements.
设计意图:回顾本课所学内容,巩固所学知识。
Step 9. Homework
1. Review the words and expressions in this period.

3. Make five sentences on what are you and your families are doing now.
设计意图:设置课后作业有利于检测学生对所学内容的掌握情况,有助于安排下一节课的内容和调整授课计划。
板书设计:
Unit 6 I’m watching TV 1.—What are you doing? —I'm watching TV. —What's he doing? —He's using the computer. —What are they doing? —They're listening to a CD.
